After 5 years in retail, 10 years as an electronics and communications technician and 20 years as an avionics software engineer I was made redundant.
On the plus side I finally had the free time that I had always wanted and could now try out all the Internet stuff I had been saving links to.
After literally months of dabbling, and trying out everything I could find, I came to the following conclusions
During this period I amassed many online accounts. Most of which required registration just to evaluate them or to add replies/comments to other people. With so many accounts, I couldn't keep track of them all and I needed somewhere to keep them listed. Since I keep this list online, so that I can access it from any computer, it seemed logical to make it available to my online acquaintances so that they could see what the best places to get in touch with me were.
So here are the main places where I can be found and the likelihood of your getting a reply.

My Twitter profile - I check my feed far too often. yet apart from @mentions I am usually several hours or even days in arrears.
Google - email me at mjperigo at gmail + the .com bit but don't expect a quick reply.
Flickr - Computer memories/list/collection - A lot more to add but I've hit my freebie limit and need persuading to upgrade to a pro account.
Picasa - Nothing here yet but it may get used if I don't go pro on Flickr

FriendFeed - What's this about? Facebook without the dreaded apps?
Friends reunited, Forces reunited, MySpace, LinkedIn, Orkut, Bebo - Never checked unless you send me a message and then I should get an email.
YouTube - Playlists of favourite videos but nothing uploaded from me.
Yahoo - I have an ID for access but it's never used for anything else
Instructables - Again, I have an ID for access but haven't uploaded anything yet.
Instant Messaging - No way! (although I do have a Skype account if you want to chat but you'll need to arrange a time first.)
Forums - I must make a list of these for next time.
Links - bitly, delicious, digg etc. (I really must import some links someday)
